The starting point

NorMed UK is a paramedic-led primary care provider, supplying GP practices and PCNs across the UK with remote clinical triage, community paramedics and vaccinations. The service was strong, but almost nobody found it through search. The site averaged 27 impressions and fewer than two clicks a day, nearly all from people already typing “NorMed”. There was no schema and no named authors, posts came in bursts with long gaps between, and a key service page had a typo in its H1 and no meta description. In healthcare, where Google holds content to a higher bar, that left practice managers researching triage with no route to NorMed.

What I did

I ran NorMed’s content through Remway, the AI content engine I built for exactly this. It reads the site’s Search Console data, finds the questions practice managers are searching for, and turns them into articles optimised for both Google and AI answers: what clinical triage is, how ARRS funding works, why the 8am rush happens, how to cut missed appointments. Each one carries Flemming’s name as author and uses NorMed’s own figure, 45 to 50% of triaged cases resolved at first contact without a GP appointment, as one consistent, quotable stat. More than 20 articles went live in three months.

The result

Across the same rolling three-month window, clicks are up 110% (127 to 267) and impressions up 247% (around 5,200 to 18,043). Daily impressions have gone from 27 to a steady 150 to 175. Several articles now rank on page one, some in the top five to ten for their target phrase. The flagship “What Is Clinical Triage” guide alone brings in around 50 clicks and 5,000 impressions a month from position 7, more than the homepage, and the ARRS funding guide earns a 3.88% click-through rate, about three times the site average. NorMed is also starting to show up near the top when people ask AI assistants to compare triage providers.

  • Remway search performance chart showing impressions climbing from July to September, with 35 pages on page one of Google

The search performance chart is NorMed’s Remway dashboard, comparing the last three months with the three months before. The figures above compare against NorMed’s baseline before Remway, which is why the numbers differ.
